Studio Policy

payment: 

  • Monthly Payment is due in full in the beginning of the first lesson each month. 

  • The amount of tuition is based on the number of lessons you scheduled for the month.

  • Payment can either be mailed to the studio or brought to the first lesson each month. 

  • A $20 late fee will be billed if the payment has not been made by the 8th of the month. 

  • A $50 fee will be charged for every returned check to cover the bank charges. 

  • Rococo Music Studio accept payments through cash and check. No card payment is acceptable at this time. 

Book & Supplies Fee: 

  • The tuition does not include the books, materials, and other supplies. 

  • Students are responsible for the cost of books. Books are normally available to be purchased at the studio or at major music stores. Upon the request, the teacher may purchase books for the student and be reimbursed along with the student’s next payment.

Instruments: 

  • All students should have regular access to an instrument whether rented or owned . 

  • Students are expected to bring the instrument to their lesson and practice daily at home. 

attendance:

  • Students are expected to arrive on time or 5 minutes prior the lesson starts.

  • If you arrive late, you will only receive the remainder of lesson time that day.

Scheduling: 

  • Rococo Music Studio is following a scheduling system which is month to month basis. You may start and end the commitment any month of the year. Once you set your schedule, you are only engaged to the schedule til the end of the month. 

  • Students will need to confirm their lesson schedules for the following monthly by the last week of each month. 

  • If you decide to terminate your lesson, we will need a two week notice in written form. 

Rescheduling:

  • If student is eligible for a makeup lesson, who may scheduled an alternative lesson upon the teacher’s availability.

  • Students will only be allowed 1 make-up lessons per month. No refunds permitted for missed lessons.

  • In the event that an instructor cancels a lesson, an equivalent make-up lesson will be provided in an alternative time. 

  • It is the student’s/parent’s responsibility to request a makeup lesson. Students/Parents understand that they must pay for all missed lessons whether a rescheduled lesson date/time was provided or not.

  • If a rescheduled lesson is missed, the student will forfeit that lesson time.

  • If the teacher is unable to give a scheduled lesson, it will be rescheduled during the current month. If a reschedule is not possible, a credit will be applied toward the lessons of the following month. 

cancellation:

  • If the lesson is cancelled before confirming the schedule, the lesson can be skip without paying the tuition. If the lesson has been confirmed, but need to cancel for any reason, you must notify the teacher 24 hours prior the lesson. Otherwise, you will lose the chance to get a make-up lesson. 

  • Please make sure you contact us by email at rococomusicstudio@gmail.com, or by phone at (781) 462-0542 to cancel a lesson.

  • If you "no show" or "missed" the lesson without any notice, you will neither receive a  make-up lesson, nor credit or refund.

Termination: 

  • Teachers must be notified 2 weeks in advance before termination of lessons. 

  • No refund can be issued for termination without advanced notice.

  • Students must pay all the remaining balance before the termination.

  • Teachers reserve the right to terminate lesson when above mentioned polices are violated.
